The Art of Connecting (Mud & Merlot) is a guided pottery experience designed for couples, friends, and small groups to slow down, share a moment, and create something meaningful together. No experience needed—just bring yourself. We’ll guide you through the process while you enjoy conversation, creativity, and a laid-back atmosphere. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply taking time to reconnect, you’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind piece and a memory worth keeping.

Cancellation Policy
# Mud & Merlot – Booking Policy ## Reservations Required All guests must reserve in advance. Seating is limited to create a relaxed, social atmosphere and ensure a high-quality experience for every guest. ## Age Requirement Mud & Merlot is designed for guests ages 21 and older. ## Cancellation & Rescheduling Cancellations or reschedule requests must be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled session. * Changes made at least 24 hours in advance will receive a full credit toward a future class. * Requests made less than 24 hours before the event are non-refundable and non-transferable. ## No-Shows Guests who do not attend their scheduled session without notice will forfeit their booking. ## Group Bookings For parties or group reservations, one designated point of contact is required. Final headcount must be confirmed at least 48 hours before the event. ## Arrival Time Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to get settled before the session begins. Late arrivals may miss part of the guided instruction and may not be able to make up missed time. ## What’s Included Your booking includes clay, tools, instruction, glazing, and kiln firing for one finished pottery piece. ## Finished Pieces Pottery projects require drying, bisque firing, glazing, and glaze firing before they are ready for pickup. * Finished pieces are typically ready within 3–5 weeks. * Pickup notifications will be sent once work is complete. * Pieces left unclaimed for more than 60 days may be discarded due to limited storage space. ## Studio Guidelines Mud & Merlot is intended to be a fun, creative, and social experience. For safety and studio cleanliness: * Please wear comfortable clothing that you do not mind getting clay on. * Closed-toe shoes are recommended. * Long hair should be tied back. * Guests should treat studio tools and materials with care. * Outside food and beverages are welcome in moderation, but should remain away from clay tools and work surfaces. ## Instructor Changes Occasionally, instructor schedules may change due to illness or unforeseen circumstances. If needed, Fired & Framed reserves the right to substitute instructors, reschedule the class, or issue class credit.
